MASTERHAND

Andrey Stoyanov Andreev was born on 15.10.1971 in the town of Gabrovo.
He is a hereditary master-cutler. He has been acquainted with the subtleties of the craft since he was 11 years old.ln 1991 he became a member of the Folk Crafts Master Society after passing an exam.
The hand made knives are distinguished by an artistic craftsmanship. Andrey Andreev makes articles from the traditional Gabrovo knives range. The hilts are made from bone, horn, wood and some of the blades have not only the master brand but also hand made engraved drawings.
